LEAVE NO TRACE

Educational ad concept for The Center for Outdoor Ethics on the Leave No Trace (LNT) principles.

A series of posters creates awareness and education on the environmental protection principles of Leave No Trace. The posters laconically inform explorers how to protect their environment on  outdoor adventures. 
DURATION: 3 weeks  
DELIVERABLES: illustrated poster series, alternative layouts, printing specifications 
Audience
The target audience is everyone who spends time outdoors and engages in outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, etc. This series focuses on individuals who are already spending lots of time outdoors, not just the general public, and aims to educate them on how to improve their habits to best serve their environment.
Challenges 
The poster designs had to work in multiple dimensions to ensure that it could be placed in a variety of outdoor locations. As well, the printing method for the posters should also coincide with the message of "Leave No Trace." The poster printing plan included many green and environmental methods including UV ink, UV varnish, cloroplast (Corogreen), recycled aluminum, and ultraboard recycled form core.
